L'Almanarre

In westerly winds, Almanarre beach is the favorite terrain for very good kitesurfers and windsurfers. East wind is best for beginners. If you are not yet an expert, it is best to approach one of the beach kitesurfing schools.

Now that you know everything, admire the spectacle in pictures. Because if you are not athletic but rather a photographer, Almanarre is the perfect place to immortalize this dance with the wind!

Practical information

The Salt Road is closed to cars from All Saints holidays to Easter holidays (this year, it opens on Friday April 19) but there are parking lots near the spot. Park on the village side of Giens to be closer to the kitesurfers.

If you come to take photos you will be staying a long time so cover up! Who says Mistral says fresh wind!
