Leucate has hosted the Winds World Championship every year for 21 years and it has never disappointed the snow sports champions. The wind blows there strong almost every day. The riders call it "La Divine Tram".

The Tramontana is a wind blowing off. You therefore have no risk of getting carried away on the beach and injuring yourself. In addition, having space, it is impossible to get in the way and you will have a great feeling of freedom as the spot is large. A security is present every day on the spot provided by professionals. The Tram is a wind that blows every day and is strong: around 25 knots.

You can therefore sail with small kites (between 5 m² and 9 m². Rental is possible). The extreme and physical sensations will bring you an immense dose of adrenaline by making you progress a lot.

In addition, the beauty of the landscape (cliffs, mountains, large beach) will make your sessions even more enjoyable. Many activities are possible nearby (paddle, kite, sand yachting, water walking, fitness, yoga on the beach, hiking on the cliff ...).

The conditions and the configuration of the spot allow you to progress on many supports:

- Freestyle and Hang-Time thanks to the on-flat water surface by the beach

- In freeride and race: you can tackle 15 km edges by going up to the edge of the beach on flat water. And watch out for the adrenaline during your descent edge!

- Speed ??downhill at full speed along the beach

- In foil thanks to the quickly deep water and the large space you have.

To start, this spot is ideal: a large space, professionals very attentive and pedagogical and an exceptional atmosphere. Beautiful waves are forming and the most seasoned can have fun in Surf-Kite. Security boat in the area. Good atmosphere, mutual aid and assistance on the beach.
